This Marshall Super Lead
100 ("Hoss") was made in
October of 1973. This is my favorite amp of all those I've ever owned.
After it had a major meltdown, both transformers were replaced with
Mercury Magnetics. Now it sounds better than ever. It's an honor just
to stand in its sonic path onstage!

"T.K." is a Super Lead 100
made in December of 1973. This amp has Svetlana 6550 output tubes and
produces a highly dynamic clean sound. A lot of people talk crap about
the 6550s, but I think they provide an interesting variation of the
Marshall tone. The increased headroom makes this a very versatile
Marshall. After burning up the original power transformer and one
replacement, it now has a Mercury Magnetics PT and is ready to kick
some f-ing ass.

Marshall 2554 Juilee Series combo.
When I bought this little combo, I was looking for a good practice amp.
Being 50 watts, it was a little more power than I wanted, but I
couldn't resist the tone. In addition to being an amazing practice amp,
it has been very handy for recording and on gigs where a large setup
isn't required onstage. Sounds great through Doctor Z 2x12.

This is yet another 1973 Super
Lead 100. It was made in March of '73. Being an early '73, it is one
of the last hand wired
Marshall Super Leads. It has a master volume modification. This was the
most used amp on Amplitude. It
was recorded 'old school' (W.F.O.). If you don't use the master volume,
it has a very similar tone to "Hoss" and makes a great backup.
